Why we built it

Rallyd is for the one who makes the trip happen.

Every group has that person — the one who sends the first message, keeps everyone on track, and books the thing nobody else will. Rallyd is built for them. And when you travel solo, it’s the quiet place to keep your own trips in order.

From the founder

I caught the travel bug in college, when I took a leap of faith and spent a semester studying abroad in Leicester, England. It opened everything up — I met people from all over the world, traveled across Europe, and got to live inside other cultures instead of just passing through them.

Somewhere in there, travel became how I reset. Whether it’s a city I’ve never seen or a trail through a national park, getting outside is what clears my head and reminds me there’s a bigger world than the day-to-day. I think everyone deserves that kind of escape.

But the more I traveled, the more I noticed the same thing: planning the trip, especially with a group, was often more stressful than the trip was restful, and it landed hardest on whoever stepped up to lead. I kept wondering how to make group and solo travel effortless enough that the trip actually happens. With a background in IT project management, I kept landing on the same answer — put one person in the driver’s seat and keep everything in one place, instead of juggling five apps and a spreadsheet. That’s where Rallyd came from.

What we stand for

A few things we won’t compromise on.

The decisions underneath every screen — the reasons Rallyd feels the way it does.

No passwords, no fuss

Magic link or Google, and you’re in. We never ask you to invent another password, and we only keep the trip data you actually put in.

Someone has to drive

Trips stall when everyone’s in charge and no one is. One organizer leads; everyone else contributes. Clear ownership is a feature, not a limitation.

No group chat, on purpose

Rallyd has no freeform chatroom. You vote, comment, and post where it belongs, next to the decision it’s about, so nothing important scrolls away.

Free to start, honest about the rest

The whole planning toolkit is free. No card, no trial clock. Pro adds more room and extras when you want them, and Rallyd never touches your money.

Plan the one you keep talking about.

Start a trip, invite your crew, and lock it in — or keep your own travels in one place. It’s free to start.
